In the spring and fall of each calendar year, a dozen Sodexo Chefs from around the world venture to the United States on a four week tour of select cafes and dining halls in which Sodexo provides food service. Our reach across 80 different countries affords us the opportunity to choose from a pool of very talented and diverse chefs. The mission of each Global Chef is to share their authentic native cuisine and culture with our consumers and our team members. Our mission is to treat them like rock stars while exposing them to North American culture – specific to the region in which they are traveling; including Canada.
We have welcomed chefs from France, Norway, Denmark, Peru, China, Malaysia, Russia, The United Arab Emirates – just to name a few.
